Eons ago before humanity set its foot upon the world, the immortal gods created a balance upon the earth between beast and nature. This balance lasted for millions of years, until there dawned a new creature: man. Man had neither fur for warmth or claws for protection. The only thing it did have was a desire for power.
The gods blessed the new creature. They gave them food and shelter. They taught them civilization, knowledge, and skills to survive. And as man learned more...man desired more. Soon, humanity's greed got the best of it, causing a massive war that engulfed all. Many lives were lost, and the planet was ravaged.
The gods then bestowed upon the world a gift that would create balance. This gifts were two armors. One was the Armor of Ra (or life) and the other was the Armor of Abydos (death). These armors together would hold the pwoer to balance out the forces of light and darkness.
Balance returned once again, but only for a time. For the lust for power and the greed in humanity is never satisfied for long. Man began to destroy once again for claim to the power of the armors. Seeing this, the gods acted swiftly. So no one person could ever use that power, the gods shattered both armors into pieces, and spread the pieces across the world.
Whosoever holds a piece of armor will gain powers that humanity only dreams of. Powers to call upon the elements. Powers to call upon creatures for protection. Even powers to summon the gods themselves.
All men desire this power...and will do ANYTHING..to get it.
